In all his works the aim of his design has always been to highlight the shapes and the materials with the help of a meticulous research and accurate use of peculiarities of both of them.
“Structural solutions, apparently simple ones, have to give strength and shape to the objects alongside with an important balance between functionality and aesthetical part”.
For Nea Italia Enio has designed the bathroom furniture “Naos”.
Founder of “BCF Image and Design”, Marcello has been developing projects in Italy and abroad for over 30 years designing kitchen, bathroom furniture, sanitary fittings, home accessories and technical items.
"After many years of design, Marcello’s research came closer to the ‘emotional design’, a new approach to the planning inspired by an aesthetic tight to sensations and emotions. A new way to discover and understand the product not only as a designer, but also as a user, the product no more being just a functional element, but also a real character of the surroundings, an expression of designer’s own personality through a piece of furniture.
Marcello has received together with his BCF studio a lot of rewards among which there are the famous award “Compasso d’oro” in 2011, and “ADI Design Index” in 2003, 2009, 2011 and 2012. He is also the author of many articles on design themes."
For Nea Italia Marcello has designed the bathroom furniture "Giulia", "Sole", "Keope" and "Octo".
